Position Overview
This position is responsible for facilitating the linkage between business process and technology by defining business needs, translating needs into technology requirements, an managing processes to ensure applications meet business needs.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include coordinating multiple IT development projects to meet business, time, and budget requirements.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five to seven years business analyst experience
- Strong problem-solving, communication and documentation skills
- Development experience with MSSQL Server 2000/2005/2008, TSQL, .NET, SSRS, SSIS, SharePoint 2007/2010
- Experience managing IT development projects is preferred
- Progress DB, ETL, and Microsoft Analysis Services experience desired
- Knowledge of XML, HTML, Web Services, IIS 6/7, C#, AJAX preferred
- Experience with financial applications in a distribution environment helpful
