The
final EPA R22 phase-out ruling was released for 2010
and beyond.
The rule bans the use of
virgin R22 in new systems and starts a step-down
annual supply restriction for service. If you are
not doing so already, you need to transition away
from quoting R22 systems and make sure you are using
proper reclaim practices.
R410a systems are significantly more efficient than
R22 systems.
